Meet The IBA Team

Freddie Chatt

Freddie – Founder

A ‘jack of all trades’ role is probably the best way to describe my role within the IBA team. From planning the entire campaign utilising ideas and feedback gained from previous years, to ensuring that nothing is left out and making sure that everything is where it should be. Having seen the Amara Interior Blog Awards grow from a simple idea through to a lavish ceremony in the first year, and then to see so many new bloggers last year – I’m super excited to see what this year brings to create even more awareness for the blogs in our industry.

Karen – PR & Brand Communications

My role for the IBAs is to ensure the whole event runs smoothly throughout the year as well as engaging great brands to be involved, planning any blogger events and partnerships and of course the big night itself! I am excited that 2017 is going to be another bumper year, with even more amazing blogs being involved – new, up and coming and the well-established blogs – a great year ahead for all involved!

Marie – Awards Coordinator

I am extremely excited to be a part of the IBA team this year after hearing a lot about it before I even starting working here at Amara. I communicate with a lot of influencers day to day, so it will be really exciting to meet everyone. I will be working during the preparation phase to make sure everyone is up to date during voting and ensuring all of your questions are answered, and I’ll be there on the night making sure everyone has a wonderful time. I am no stranger to coordinating events as I’ve managed lots of commercial radio events and concerts in the past, and I always love the buzz of excitement from making an event a roaring success. I’d love to meet as many of you as possible on the night, so please feel free to grab me for a chat!

Emily – Content Editor

I write all of the copy for the Interior Blog Awards website and database emails and I also edit the IBA Blog. My role means I need to keep on top of all of the vast amounts of information coming in about the awards from new sponsors to website updates to make sure I don’t miss a thing. I’m really looking forward to doing more with the IBA Blog this year which features not only award updates but also essential tips for bloggers to help grow their blogs each year. So stay tuned for much more guidance, advice and guest posts on the IBA Blog in the coming months.

Harriet – Social Media Coordinator

This is my first IBA’s and I’m SO excited! I’d heard about the awards before I started working at Amara, so I’m super proud to be a part of such a prolific industry event this year. Running Amara’s social channels means I am in regular contact with our bloggers and I can’t wait to put faces to names on the night. From boomerangs to behind the scenes action, I’ll be snapping away at the awards and getting the ‘buzz’ going on social – so feel free to come and grab me for a cheeky photo op!
