Preparations for the 2016 awards are well underway so there’s no better time to introduce the team behind this year’s campaign. Each with their own essential responsibilities, the awards would be nothing without each and every one of them and here they tell the IBA Blog all about their roles in this year’s campaign and what they are most looking forward to over the coming months…
Freddie – Operations Director
A ‘jack of all trades’ role is probably the best way to describe my role within the IBA team. From planning the entire campaign utilising ideas and feedback gained from previous years, to ensuring that nothing is left out and making sure that everything is where it should be. Having seen the Amara Interior Blog Awards grow from a simple idea through to a lavish ceremony in the first year, and then to see so many new bloggers last year – I’m super excited to see what this year brings to create even more awareness for the blogs in our industry.
Karen – PR & Brand Communications Director
My role for the IBAs is to ensure the whole event runs smoothly throughout the year as well as engaging great brands to be involved, planning any blogger events and partnerships and of course the big night itself! I am excited that 2016 is going to be another bumper year, with even more amazing blogs being involved – new, up and coming and the well-established blogs – a great year ahead for all involved!
Emily – Website Copywriter & Editor of the IBA Blog
I write all of the copy for the Interior Blog Awards website and database emails and I also edit the IBA Blog. My role means I need to keep on top of all of the vast amounts of information coming in about the awards from new sponsors to website updates to make sure I don’t miss a thing. I’m really looking forward to doing more with the IBA Blog this year which features not only award updates but also essential tips for bloggers to help grow their blogs in 2016 so stay tuned for that and I also can’t wait for the night itself of course when I get to meet all of the fabulous bloggers face to face.
Jess – Awards Coordinator
After hearing about the success and positive feedback from last year, I’m excited about working on my first Interior Blog Awards. As I currently talk to and work closely with many bloggers in my everyday role, it will be great to continue the relationships, as well as making new ones, leading up to this fantastic event. From the nominations to the shortlisting, I will be communicating with bloggers and making sure everyone is up to date with the whole voting process. Updating profiles pages and running around on the night of the event will also be top of my agenda!
Lucy – Awards Coordinator
I’m thrilled to be involved in the Amara Interior Blog Awards this year. Preparation is already well underway and so far I have been involved in some particularly exciting meetings and brainstorming sessions. As this is my first year in the IBA team, I am able to bring a fresh perspective and hopefully make this year bigger and better than ever before! Throughout the next six months, I will be the first point of contact for many of the bloggers, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly. Unsurprisingly, the aspect of the Interior Blog Awards that I am most looking forward to is the night itself – the photos from last year look amazing and I can’t wait to be there in person!
There they are – the IBA16 team! Stay tuned into the IBA Blog for all the latest updates on the awards in the coming months.
